Pantherum Solutions Group

To New Beginnings

Pantherum Marketing researches policy and social causes for communities of color.

The Pantherum Marketing Agency is the dream child of Desha “DrDesha” Elliott. Elliott began her career assisting clients on how to expand their business through social media content and engagement. She went on to help small businesses with profitable marketing campaigns and product branding events nationwide. She utilizes her marketing expertise to help small business owners build their fledgling businesses from the ground up. Always striving to continue to impact diverse communities she then started Pantherum Solutions Group, which focuses on entertainment and talent marketing.

So often in this day and age, communicaties of color are excluded, ignored, or limited in their access to education, employment, and other factors of life that lead to the success and well being of individuals and families. This unfortunately can trickle down to mental healthcare as well. Historical adversities including slavery, sharecropping, and race based exclusion from healthcare; educational; social; and economic resources easily equates to a flood of socioeconomic inequalities. Which in turn causes socioeconomic status to become linked to mental health. Present day problems such as COVID-19; loneliness from quarantines; sadness from loss of loved ones and jobs; and police brutality to name a few things, have led to individuals experiencing trauma as never before. Those who seek help often don’t trust the medical system. The black and African American providers who would be able to help give the proper care needed make up a small portion of available behavioral healthcare providers. While at the same time those that are seeking help are more likely to need extra care due to experiencing chronic and persistent episodes of mental health conditions.

Knowledge is power so instead of just talking about the problem, Pantherum is now more than ever dedicated to creating and sustaining said power. Instead of being part of the problem Pantherum is definitely part of the solution.

They are expanding their goal of wanting to diversify individuals in the entertainment and talent fields to include research, being part of policy discussions, and being centered around black and African American community development. Pantherum has shifted its focus on increasing mental health education and access for communities of color.

Thank you Pantherum for being the voice of those who may be unable to speak for themselves.
